Strike12 Theory

About Strike12

A social-impact organization built for the people building Africa's future.

What Strike12 is

Strike12 Theory is a social-impact organization that strengthens African NGOs, social-impact organizations, purpose-driven founders and initiatives through strategy, brand and creative direction, storytelling, learning, technology and capacity building.

Why we exist

Across the continent, extraordinary work is under-resourced, under-told and under-recognised. Not for lack of impact — for lack of infrastructure around it. Strike12 exists to close that gap: to give African social-impact work the strategy, language and systems its ambition deserves.

Our mission

To strengthen African social-impact work so that it is clear in purpose, credible in practice, visible in the world and sustained over time.

The meaning of Strike12

Twelve is the last strike of the clock — the end of one hour and the beginning of the next. Strike12 is a symbol of transition and new beginnings: the deliberate moment an organization decides to move from intention to structured, lasting impact.

Our principles

  1. 01

    Think

Start with rigour. Understand the problem before designing the response.

  2. 02

    Build

Turn thinking into structures, systems and capabilities that hold.

  3. 03

    Amplify

Tell the truth of the work so it reaches the people who must hear it.

  4. 04

    Sustain

Design for continuity, not for a campaign cycle.
